The existing content pipeline, consisting of the 3ds Max and= Maya exporters, still works. The FBX Importer, however, makes CRYENGINE mo= re accessible to a greater variety of DCC tools, like Blender, so that arti= sts can continue to use their favorite workflow. There is a RenderMesh component you can use to set the mesh and material. Together with the Translation, Scale and Rotation components you get rendering for free as there is already a built-in system which takes care of rendering all entities that have these components.
